Carol H. (Bizeau) Boguszewski

Ipswich- Carol H. (Bizeau) Boguszewski, 83, wife of the late Michael J. Boguszewski, passed peacefully Tuesday night  October 9, 2018  in her home in Ipswich with her family and her cat by her side.  Born in Newburyport on  January 19, 1935  she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Beaudin) Bizeau.

     Carol was raised and educated in Newburyport, she was a graduate of Newburyport High School.  She was a longtime employee of Western Electric, later to be A.T. & T. and finally later to be Lucent Technologies, those years she considered some of her happiest years.  Carol and her loving husband Michael enjoyed traveling together every year to Aruba. It was important to Carol that she remained independent and living in her home that she shared with her husband for over 50 years.  She was predeceased by her husband Michael on  September 29, 2000.  She was also predeceased by their daughter Dianne.

     Carol’s family would like to thank Care Dimensions Hospice for their kindness and the support that they showed during her last few days of life.  Also, the family would like to thank Dr. Carl Soderland and his staff for the many years of compassionate care they provided for Carol. 

     Carol is survived by her niece Bettyann Finnegan and her husband Kevin of Newburyport.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by her long time companion, Max the cat.  Carol was also predeceased by her 2 brothers:  Malcolm Bizeau formerly of CA and Arnold Bizeau formerly of Ipswich, and her sister  Lucille Bizeau formerly of Newburyport.

     At Carol’s request services will be held privately at the Morris Funeral Home in  Ipswich.  Burial will take place in the family lot in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich.  In lieu of flowers a donation in Carol’s name may be made to:  Our Lady of Hope Church  1 Pineswamp Road  Ipswich, MA  01938.  To send a condolence to Carol’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
