Elizabeth W. (Walke) Robins

Ipswich – Elizabeth W. (Walke) Robins, 83, wife of the late William J. Robins, Jr., died unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday January 9, 2018. Born in Beverly on April 17, 1934 she was the daughter of the late John T. and Elizabeth J. (Fraser) Walke. Elizabeth was raised and educated in Hamilton, she was a graduate of Hamilton High School. She and her husband William were married at the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ipswich in 1955. Due to her husband’s work the Robins family had been residents of Hamilton, Ipswich and Fairpoint, NY at different times. She enjoyed spending time at the Little Neck Beach in Ipswich. Mrs. Robins was predeceased by her husband on July 3, 2016. Mrs. Robins is survived by her 4 children and spouses : Mark and Robin Robins of Ipswich, Gary and Sue Robins of Fairpoint, NY, Peter and Carol Robins also of Ipswich and Elizabeth Rogers of MA. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Peter and Fay Walke of Hamilton, and her 2 sisters : Ann St.Germain also of Hamilton and Mary Mahoney of Middlebury, VT as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robins was also predeceased by her brother Donald Walke formerly of CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday January 15th. at 10 :00 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited. There will be no burial at this time. There will also be no visiting hours. Assisting the Robins family is the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.
