Hamilton – Lois C. (Kallman) Phipps, 92, wife of James E. Phipps, Sr., died Saturday January 6, 2018 in the Beverly Hospital. Born in Lynn on December 18, 1925 she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Droney) Kallman. Mrs. Phipps and her husband James had been residents of Hamilton for over 50 years. They shared 70 years of marriage. Mrs. Phipps is survived by, in addition to her husband James, her sons: James Phipps, Jr. of Ipswich, Jeffrey Phipps and his wife Paula of Lynn, and her daughter: Sharon Ercha of Ipswich. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her brother William Kallman of Georgetown. She was also predeceased by her grandson Jason Phipps formerly of Ipswich. A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held Friday January 12th. beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the V.F. W. Post# 1093, 110 County Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mrs. Phipps’ name to: Alzheimer’s Association of MA/NH 309 Waverley Oaks Road Waltham, MA 02450 .
