Arestides “Steve” Tgavalekos of Ipswich, Massachusetts passed away on Friday March 23, 2018  after a long illness.

          Steve was born in Boston in 1935 to Sotorios (Sam) and Anastasia Tgavalekos.  He was predeceased by his siblings:  George Tgavalekos and Christine D’Amore.  Steve was a lifelong resident of Ipswich with many ties to the community. Steve loved to play golf, enjoyed nature and was a fan of the Boston sports teams.

     Steve was loved by his nieces and nephews:  Terry Tgavalekos, Denise Bagdonas, the late Maryanne Burke, David D’Amore, Sandra Wood, Paula Pena and many great nieces and nephews.

     Also predeceased are three adopted sisters:  Pauline Callahan, Evangeline Coussoule and Helen Joyce.

     There will be a graveside service to be held on Monday  April 2nd.  at  10:00 A.M.  at Cowles Memorial Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich.  All are welcome to join in celebrating Steve’s life.  There will be no visiting hours.  In lieu of flowers Steve asked that donations be made to:  the American Cancer Society  30 Speen Street  Framingham, MA  01701.  Arrangements are under the direction of  the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.  To send a condolence to Steve’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
