Corey Michael Dunbar, 32, has sadly left this world from fighting his battle of addiction on Saturday  April 27, 2024. 


          Corey loved his family,  He loved the outdoors fishing and camping.  Corey spent many nights fishing with his father at Plum Island.  He always helped his Pop with mowing his lawn, splitting wood, whatever was needed.  Corey enjoyed helping others, he was a likeable young man.  Corey was a caring, loving person in any and all conditions.  He really had a big heart.  Corey also loved towing cars for two tow companies as this was his job.


       Corey leaves behind his mother Nicole Picanso and her partner Brian Pinkerton of West Townsend, MA, his father and his wife Donald and Ellen Dunbar of Ipswich, his sisters Jillian Dunbar and partner Brandon of  Haverhill,  Danielle and Curt Poulin of Danville, NH and Lyla Dunbar of Ipswich, brothers  Donald Dunbar and partner Jessimen and nephew Scout all of Idaho, Tyler Dunbar of Ipswich,  His stepsiblings are:  Reanna McAtee and Cayleigh McAtee both of Ipswich.    Corey is also survived by his maternal grandparents  Lucia and Anthony Picanso of Rowley as well as niece Emily of Danville, NH, Corey’s fiancée Jessica St. Hilaire of  Ipswich.  He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.


          Visiting hours for Corey will be held Thursday  May 9, 2024  from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.  in the Morris Funeral Home  45 North Main Street, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  All other services will be private.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Corey’s memory to:  The Link House   37 Washington Street Newburyport, MA  01950.  To send a letter of condolence to Corey’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
