Denis H. Trudel

Denis H. Trudel, husband of Chong Sun (Lee) Trudel, died unexpectedly at Beverly Hospital Thursday morning  May 27, 2021.  Born in Montreal, Canada on  September 22, 1945  he was the son of the late Jacques and Lucia (Vermette) Trudel. 

          Mr. Trudel was a long time resident of Ipswich.  He was raised and educated in Ipswich, a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1964.  In his early years he was the lead singer of the local garage band “The Shames” of Ipswich.  Later Denis sang with his great friend Walter Godfrey in the band “The Boys”.  Mr. Trudel was an electrician for the Axcelis Technologies  in Beverly for many years .

          Mr. Trudel is survived by, in addition to his wife Chong Sun, his daughter  Christina, his sister  Anne-Marie and her husband John, his sister-in-law Patricia and his 3 nieces:  Michelle, Jessica and Joana.  Mr. Trudel was predeceased by his brother Gerard Trudel in 2005.
