Diane Avelis

It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Avelis, announce her sudden passing on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the age of 69.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her fiancé of over 20 years, Daryl; children, Charles (Kalee) Michaud, Devin (Justin) Hurley, Timothy Richard; ten grandchildren, Marissa, Sienna, Tayte, Miles, Paige, June, Julia , Cillian, Althaia, and Sequoia; sisters; Karen (Peter) Asaro, Robin (Jesee) Burns; nephews,  William, Peter, Josiah, and Jesse; and numerous other family members and friends.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, William and Lillian Avelis.

Diane was born on November 19, 1956, in Queens, New York.  Shortly after her and her parents moved to Ipswich, where she spent some of her life before moving around to different cities in Massachusetts. Diane pursued many different jobs in the healthcare field.  She had an incredible love for plants and animals, her family; and enjoyed taking day trips to the mountains, especially in Autumn to view the foliage.
