Ipswich –Florence L. Sikora, 97, wife of the late Edward J. Sikora, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 1, 2019 at Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield after a long illness. Born in Georgetown she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Victoria (Kruk) Mucha.
Mrs. Sikora enjoyed cooking, cleaning and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted caregiver, starting at a young age which continued throughout her life.
Mrs. Sikora is survived by her loving family, her daughter Jane Sikora, her son Edward Sikora, Jr. and his wife Joanne. She is also survived by her grandchildren : Kristen Desmond and her husband Tom, Michael Sikora and his fiance Michaela Biagiotti, her great-grandchildren : Olivia and Taryn Desmond, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sikora was also predeceased by her 7 brothers and sisters : John Mucha, Mary Timmons, Josephine Arnold, Kate Noel, Frances Lowell, Agnes Markos and Fred Mucha.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 3rd. at 10 :00 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich. Burial will follow in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. An hour of visitation will precede the Mass Friday May 3rd. from 8 :30 to 9 :30 A.M. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
