Florence E. ‘Betty ‘ (Taylor) Wiemann, 95, wife of the late Harry K. Wiemann, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday morning December 20, 2020. She was born in Philadelphia on May 23, 1925 the daughter of the late Earl and Florence (Pleiss) Taylor.
Betty was raised and educated in the Philadelphia area. She took great pleasure in cooking for her family. As a piano teacher she had a love of music, all kinds of music. Betty wrote church hymns, one that is played often in her church, the First Church of Ipswich. She and her husband Harry enjoyed traveling world wide. She also enjoyed being a volunteeer at the Topsfield Public Library, she was a voracious reader. Betty was predeceased by her husband on January 23, 2006.
Betty is survived by 2 children: her son Gary Wiemann and his wife Susan of North Andover, her daughter Janet Conrad of Hooksett, NH and her life partner Mike. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren : Jared Wiemann and his wife Lauren of Middleton, Brett Wiemann and his wife Maria of Seattle, WA, Stephanie Hamel and her husband Jeff also of Hooksett and Jessica Conrad of Manchester, NH, 5 great-grandchildren : Chloe, Gray, Hannah, Logan and Michael as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Earle Taylor.
A private graveside service will be held in the Hamilton Cemetery 623 Bay Road, Hamilton.
