Janet J. (Pariseau) Henley

Janet J. (Pariseau) Henley, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of Tuesday, June 21, 2022 after a long battle with Dementia. Janet was born in Beverly, MA on August 8, 1935 and was one of two children to the late Grace and Leo Pariseau of Hamilton. 

Janet grew up in Hamilton, where she graduated from Hamilton Wenham Regional, married her high school sweetheart, the late Robert C. Henley, and later raised four beautiful children of their own. 

In Janet’s younger years she enjoyed riding her bicycle along 1A from Hamilton to Beverly, daily. On days it rained, you could still count on seeing her cycling along her route. She also loved gardening, swimming, birdwatching and reading the daily newspaper on her front porch. She was happiest when her house was full with her loved ones. 

Janet is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Henley) Capuano of  Peabody, MA and Cynthia Henley-Currier and her partner Kenneth R. Belanger, Jr., of New Boston, NH and her son, Bruce Henley of Newton, NH, and her grandchildren, Tyler and his wife Jordan Currier of Deerfield, NH , Christina Capuano of Wilmington, MA, Niccole Capuano of  Peabody, MA and Lindsay Brooks of Newton, NH.  She is also survived by her sister Jane Fraser of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.  Janet was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Henley (1994) and her son, Gary J. Henley (1988).

The family wishes to thank all of those who helped care for Janet in her final months at home, where she was surrounded everyday by so much love. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the graveside funeral service, which will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the Hamilton Cemetery at 623 Bay Road, Hamilton, MA.  Visiting hours are scheduled for Wednesday June 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich.
