Jeffrey G. Turner, 65, husband of JoAnn M. Turner, died Friday evening July 7, 2023 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a short illness. Born in Haverhill on April 20, 1958 he was the son of the late Leon and Joanne (Jeffers) Turner.
Jeff was a graduate of the Whittier Regional Vocational Technical School. He was a life-long resident of Ipswich. Jeff made his career as an Electrician for the Town of Ipswich Electric Light Department, he took great pride in “keeping the lights on in Ipswich”. He also loved to cook. He was a member of the Carrollton Council # 498 of the Knights of Columbus in Ipswich. Jeff married JoAnn Burns in Ipswich in 1980.
Jeff is survived by, in addition to his wife JoAnn of Ipswich, their 4 children: Michael Turner and his wife Marisa of Las Vegas, Teresa Belfiore and her husband Justin of Ipswich, Catherine Turner and her husband Bradley Eaton also of
Ipswich, Jeanette Tombarello and her husband Tommy Jr. of Haverhill. He was the loving grandfather of 11: Justin, Kamryn, Victoria, Thomas III, Marina, Makensie, Michael Jr., Madison, Matthew, Macy and Michelina. Jeff is also survived by 1 brother Stephen Turner and his wife Brenda of Ipswich and 1 sister Karen Knox and her husband John of Amesbury, as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind Aaron LaRochelle of Hudson, NH whom he loved like a son.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday July 13th. at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Church 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Jeff’s memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
