John Klimaszewski Obituary

 John M. Klimaszewski, 63, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

He was born in Ipswich to the late Walter and Gloria (Michetti) Klimaszewski.

He was raised in Ipswich and attended Ipswich schools.

He eventually moved to St. Petersburgh.

John worked for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, where he formed lasting friendships and enjoyed connecting with people from around the world.

His adventurous spirit led him to travel extensively; he visited Poland, Honduras, Latvia, Guatemala, Lithuania, Belarus, and the Dominican Republic. 

Later in life, John experienced his greatest joy in life: becoming a father to his cherished son, Zachary Maloy. He treasured their time together and held Zachary close to his heart.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Peter, sister Mary, and brother-in-law, Dana Ashey.

He leaves his son, Zachary, and three sisters: Theresa Ashey, Anne Marie Boissoneau (Mark), and Janet Warren (Robert); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or at heart.org.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday  July 1st.  at  10:00 A.M.  in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Assisting the Klimaszewski family is the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.  To send a letter of condolence to John’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
