Joyce M. (Pariseau) Gillis, 77, died Monday evening May 21, 2018 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness. She was reunited with her husband Richard, daughter Kathy Guay, and son-in-law James Guay, who all predeceased her.
Born in Salem on November 28, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Ring) Pariseau. Joyce loved taking extended family vacations because she was devoted to her family.
Joyce is survived by her 2 daughters and their husbands Janet and Stephen Rohrdanz of Newmarket, NH and Mary and Jeffrey Stone of Ipswich. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Ryan and Katie, Jon, Jared, Stephanie, Samantha and Sarah, Nicole and Andrea. Also survived by her 4 siblings: Joanne O’Leary of East Hampton, MA, Rick and Pat Pariseau of Scarborough, ME, Rob and Lynne Pariseau also of ME, Janet and Michael Nocek of Portland, CT, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday May 26th. at 11:00 A.M. in the New Highland Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Friday May 25th. from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich, all are respectfully invited.
