Julie A. Greenleaf Bruhm, 50, wife of Jonathan S. Bruhm, died unexpectedly Saturday evening March 5, 2022 in her home. She was born in Beverly on May 15, 1971.
Julie was raised in Ipswich on Charlotte Road, she was a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1989. Later she was a graduate of Newbury College in 1991. Julie worked at MA. Dept. of Mental Health. She married Jonathan Bruhm in 1995 and she was the mother of Alex D. Bruhm and Justin S. Bruhm. Julie was a loving mother to her two boys, Alex and Justin. They were her pride and joy. She was also a second mom to her boys many friends as well as the best Aunty to her nieces and nephews. Julie was always a strong supporter of her sons’ sporting events and loved cheering them on. She always had her nieces and nephews over for sleep overs. There were also many vacations to remember with her boys, nieces and nephews and her many friends to Disney World. Oh how she loved Disney World and was planning a trip there in April with her nieces and nephews, sons and brother. We will all miss that beautiful smile of hers and her contagious laughter. She was loved by all.
Julie is survived by her loving husband Jonathan Bruhm and her 2 loving sons Alex D. Bruhm and Justin S. Bruhm. She was the loving daughter of Donald S. and Dorothy A. Greenleaf, loving sister of Dawn Greenleaf Wile and her husband Robert and their children: Jacob and Tucker, the loving sister Marc Greenleaf and his children: Cayla, Halle, Lyla and James “JD”, all of Ipswich. Julie is also survived by her mother-in-law Betsy Bruhm of Seabrook, NH, brother-in-law David Bruhm and his children: Mackenzie and Cooper of Alton, NH. Also, her uncles Robert Greenleaf of Ipswich, Richard, Jr. and his wife Ann Greenleaf of Manchester, and she leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Julie is also survived by her beloved dog, Nelly. She was predeceased by her grandparents: Joseph and Mary Dupray, Richard Sr. and Emily Greenleaf and 3 uncles: Joseph W., Jr., Leonard M. and Robert C. Dupray, all formerly of Ipswich, and her father-in-law Donald Bruhm.
A funeral service will be held Saturday March 12th. at 10:00 A.M. at Ascension Memorial Episcopal Church 31 County Street, Ipswich. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Friday March 11th. from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich, relatives and friend are respectfully invited.
