Marguerite Sharon (Fackler) Churchill

Marguerite Sharon (Fackler) Churchill, 83, passed away unexpectedly on Monday  March 21, 2022.  She was born in Medina, NY  on  November 9, 1938  the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Allis) Fackler.

          Marguerite grew up on her father’s farm in upstate New York, she was the oldest of 8 children.  Marguerite attended Rochester Business Institute where she met her husband, the late Floyd Arthur Churchill.  They had two sons:  Gregory Scott Churchill and the late Douglas Floyd Churchill.  She moved to New England where she lived out her life.  She was a professional in the world of retail, selling everything from clothes, to jewelry, to make up to fine cashmere.  In her later years Marguerite enjoyed participating in her church, Messiah Lutheran Church in Lynnfield and in her Tai Chi communities in Newburyport and Ipswich where she had many dear friends.

          Marguerite is survived by her son and daughter-in-law  Greg and Sarah Churchill of Ipswich, her granddaughters, the absolute loves of her life, Carly Churchill  of Salem, MA and Alyx Churchill of Denver, CO.  She is also survived by her sisters:  Phyllis, Bonnie and Judy, and her brothers:  Eddie and Roger and many nieces and nephews.  Marguerite was also predeceased by her sister Mariea and her brother Jimmy.
