Nancy M. Thistlewood

Nancy M. Thistlewood passed away on Friday  December 19, 2025  surrounded by her loving family.  She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, devotion and deep love for her family and animals.

     Nancy spent many years working tirelessly at Ipswich Shellfish, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication.   

     Above all else, she was a devoted wife of Arnold (Pick) Thistlewood, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who put her family first.  She also spent many years caring lovingly for her horses, dogs and all of her animals, a role that brought her great joy and purpose throughout her life.

     Nancy is survived by her daughter, Pamela Day, grandson Cody Day, his wife Danielle, granddaughter Cassidy Day, granddaughter Cori Sutter, her husband Garrett, grandson Elijah Day, granddaughter Allyah Day and granddaughter Nevaeh Day.  Her great-grandchildren:  Carter, Jaxson, Peyton, Avianna and Carrlee, extended family, stepchilldren and stepgrandchildren, and lots of loving friends.  She also leaves behind a large and loving family who will cherish her memory always.

     A graveside service will be held Wednesday  January 14, 2026  at   11:00 A.M.  in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are  respectfully invited to attend.  There will no visiting hours.   Assisting the Thistlewood family is the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.  To send a condolence to Nancy family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
