Peter James Pappas (Pappalimberis), 67, succumbed to his injuries Friday evening
May 22, 2020 at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington after an accident at his home on Sunday afternoon. Born on February 4, 1953 he was the son of the late Louis and Mabel (MacDonald) Pappalimberis.
He was born and raised in Ipswich, and remained there his entire life. Growing up he spent most of his time helping his father on the family farm. Peter was passionate and the things he loved the most were motorcycles, traveling, scuba diving and above all, his two boys.
For many years he was a Sales Representative for Snap On Tools until he branched out and became an independent tool distributor in 2008. Peter generally enjoyed his work and had the gift of making anyone he met his friend.
Peter is survived by his 2 sons, Joseph and Nicholas Pappas, and his former wife Kathy. He is also survived by his sister Marcia and her husband Dana Karas and their son Peter, his brother Michael and his family, along with loving aunts, cousins, friends, and customers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside service was held in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery in Ipswich. Arrangements were under the direction of the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.
