Richard (Dick) Paul Farina was the proud son of Anthony and Grace. He grew up in Ipswich and attended Ipswich Schools, graduating in 1972. He was a kind, fun loving character that made him special to all that knew him. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. His jobs consisted of cabinet making, house painting, carpentry and he retired from Ebsco. But his first love was carpentry, following in his father's footsteps.
Family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorites. He enjoyed his big family, and all his many nieces and nephews with families of their own including his Godson Robert Riddle.
He was passionate about the New England Patriots, as he was the ultimate Monday morning quarterback.
Richard is survived by his four sisters, Linda Wright of Ipswich, Dianne (and Tom) Antone of Newburyport, Donna Farina of Ipswich and Toni (and Rob) Riddle of Ipswich. He was pre-deceased by his father Anthony, mother Grace, and brothers Brian and Kevin.
The family would like to express gratitude and appreciation to some of his closest friends; John & Holly, Mike, Deric, Alan and Jeff. Special thanks to Dale and Gail, your love, care and compassion will be remembered always. He thought the world of you.
