Robert L. Hetnar

Robert L. Hetnar, 75, died peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends on Friday  February 5, 2021.  Born in Ipswich on  April 22, 1945  he was the son of the late Stanley J. and Gladys A. (Pratt) Hetnar.

     Mr. Hetnar was employed by the Town of Ipswich as a mechanic for 40 years.  He loved hunting and other outdoor activities at his camp in Maine.

     Mr. Hetnar is survived by his three daughters:  Wendy Upton of Topsfield, Jody Wessels of Haverhill and Amy Orzeck also of Haverhill.  He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren:  Haley, Casey, Tyler and Noah, and his brother  Stanley Hetnar of Ipswich.

     Graveside services will be held Thursday  February 11th.  at  11:00 A.M.  in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Due to the pandemic all who attend the service must:  wear a face covering, keep a distance of 6 feet and everyone is not to come into physical contact with the family.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mr. Hetnar’s name to:  the Bob Hetnar Memorial Scholarship  c/o  the K Club  5 Peatfield Street  Ipswich, MA  01938.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.  To send a letter of condolence to the Hetnar family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
