Ronald Gordon Baldinelli, Sr., 89, pased away peacefuly surrounded by his family at Riverbend in Ipswich on Friday December 26, 2025. Born in Ipswich on March 4, 1936 he was the son of Adelphina (Andreozzi) Phillips and Archangelo Baldinelli.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sheila A (Carey) Baldinelli and son Bruce A Baldinelli. Ronald is survived by his son Ronald Baldinelli Jr. and wife Heather, daughters Bonnie Phaneuf and husband Mark and Janice Baldinelli all of Ipswich. He had 6 grandchildren, Caitlin Trindade and husband Daniel, Steven Phaneuf and Hannah Graham, Matthew Mayer and his fiance Emily Sadoway, Ryan Mayer and wife Andrea, Carey Brenneman and husband Ryan, Laura Ross and husband Alex and his 7 greatgrandchildren Arya, Luke and Freya Trindade, Chase and Cameron Mayer, Henry Ross and Finn Brenneman that he adored. He was predeceased by his brother J David Baldinelli and is survived by a sister in law Jane Howard and many nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Ipswich High School and Franklin Institute Ronald loved his family most of all and will be greatly missed. He was a parishoner of Our Lady of Hope. He had worked at McMillans in Ipswich, Boston Whaler and Sentry Insurance, living for 2 years in Wisconsin while working for Sentry. He loved to garden and enjoyed boating with his family. Ronald was passionate about the Red Sox. He was proud to have pitched for the over 30 softball league. He enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the world but was partial to Aruba. He loved his walks and the many neighbors he would meet along the way.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverbend, Sharon and her staff as well as Sharry and the Hospice team for their kindness and compassion.
There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish, 1 Pineswamp Road, Ipswich, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of Morris Funeral Home, Ipswich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Hope or the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
