Susan C. (Kingman) Scherer

Susan C. (Kingman) Scherer, wife of Robert P. Scherer, died Wednesday  January 29, 2025.  Born in Danvers on March 1, 1954  she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Helen (Carson) Kingman.

      Susan loved to play the piano and would practice often when her children were young.  She often played classic hymns of old.  Her kids recalled so many precious Christmas memories.  She loved to make Christmas morning special.  Her sister Linda remembers that she was an exception Candlepin bowler and always won!  Her brother Mike loved that she let him watch Sports on Saturday mornings and quizzed him on baseball card stats and football card stats.  She loved to go to Crane’s Beach and Kingston State Park, North Conway, NH and the scenic views of The Kancamagus Highway.

     Susan was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in Peabody, MA in 1977 and knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  She was dearly loved and will be missed and remain forever in our hearts until we are reunited with her again in glory.

     Susan is survived by, in addition to her husband Robert,  her children Kristen (Scherer) Thompson and Bobby Scherer.  She is also survived by her grandchildren  Olivia Thompson and William Thompson.  Susan was sister to:  Linda (Kingman) Nekoroski, Michael Kingman and the late Danny Kingman.  She was aunt to many nieces and nephews.

     A funeral service will be held Tuesday  February 4th.  at  11:00 A.M.  in the Morris Funeral Home  45 North Main Street.  Visitation will begin after the service and conclude at 1:00P.M., relatives and friends are respectfully invited.   Burial will be private.  To send a letter of condolence to Susan’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
