On Friday, January 22, 2021, Terri Phillips, loving wife and mother, passed away at age 62 from Alzheimer’s disease. Terri was born on March 28, 1958 in Seattle Washington. In 1982. Terri married her high school sweetheart Joe Phillips. They built a beautiful family with two children, Katie and Tim. Terri spent many of her years staying at home raising her children. Terri had several jobs and volunteer positions once her children were grown, all of which focused on caring for and helping people.
Terri lived life with extreme passion, love, enthusiasm and creativity. She was a talented quilter, sewer, painter and crafter. Terri was incredibly nurturing and thrived on helping others. She was a true animal lover with a yard full of very well fed birds, squirrels and stray cats. She was known for her genuine kindness and cheery disposition. Nothing was more important than friends and family to Terri and she brought joy and happiness to all lucky enough to be in her life.
Terri is survived by her husband of 38 years, Joe. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Katie and Jon Kulakowski of Rowley and grandsons Jonny and Ben Kulakowski, her son and daughter-in-law Tim and Emily Phillips of Brooklyn, NY, her mother Sandra Nickell also of Rowley, her father and stepmother Gordon and Pat Lyster of Brentwood, CA. Also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Debbie Lyster also of Brentwood, CA, her sister-in-law and husband Paula and Don Martel and her brother-in-law and wife Mike and Laurie Phillips. Terri also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
