Todd Booth Obituary

Todd Alexander Booth, 67, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully at the Atrium in Danvers, MA on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born in Belmont, MA, on October 24, 1957, to Jodi G. Booth and J. Harold Booth. As a child, his winters were spent in Florida and summers on Nantucket with his sister, Kimberly Kinney.

Acquiring a love for woodworking at a young age from his father, Todd continued to hone his passion for woodworking at the Landing School of Boat Building and Design in Arundel, ME. He spent many years repairing and building wooden boats at the Welling Boat Company in Ipswich, MA. Upon entering fatherhood, Todd returned to school and received his bachelor’s in accounting from Northeastern University, later completing his master's in taxation at Bentley College.

Todd settled in Gloucester, working at local accounting firms throughout the North Shore.  He never strayed far from the sea or the mountains.  He was an avid surfer and skier, sharing these passions with his daughter, Devon and his son, Connor. Todd's love in life for surfing and skiing was only eclipsed by that which he held for his children.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Landing School of Boat and Design in Arundel, ME or the Nantucket Land Bank in Nantucket, MA.  Todd always cherished his time learning and broadening his woodworking craft and his genuine love for the ocean, which he openly and willingly shared with others.
