William Earle Banks, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday  December 15, 2021.  Born in Boston on  February 8, 1927  he was the son of the late William and Alice (Fraser) Banks.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Doris M. (Clements) Banks, his children:  Patricia Drinon and Lawrence Banks, his step-children:  Lisa Harding, Ted LeMieux and Richard LeMieux along with 8 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother  the late Richard Banks.

     The family wishes to thank Ledgewood Rehabilitation for it’s thoughtful service and tender care to Earle during his short stay.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday  December 18th.  at  9:00 A.M.  at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church  54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich.  Burial will follow in the New Highland Cemetery  29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich.  Visitation will be Saturday December 18th.  from  8:00 to 8:45 A.M.  in the Morris Funeral Home  45 North Main Street  Ipswich.  It is asked that all in attendance both at the funeral home and at the Church to wear a face covering.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Earle’s memory to:  the Ipswich Council-on-Aging  25 Green Street  Ipswich, MA  01938.  To send a letter of condolence to Earle’s family please go to:  MorrisFH.com .
